School of Dentistry has various educational facilities including interactive pre-clinical laboratories, Problem-based learning(PBL) lecture and control rooms, Objective Structured Clinical Examination(OSCE) room, basic dentistry laboratories, and seminar rooms.
Lecture theatres 1-4
Each of lecture theatres, which hold anywhere up to 95 students at a time, have their own enviable facilities to support teaching and learning.
Laboratory Basic Dentistry 1,2
Dental school provides two basic dental laboratories on the 1st and 2nd floor, each of which is equipped with video-audio systems, experimental equipments and tables. Basic dental lab #1 allows students to perform the experiments for biochemistry, physiology, preventive dentistry, and dental materials. Basic dental lab #2 supports the experiments for histology, pathology, microbiology, and pharmacology.
Pre-Clinical Laboratory 1
Pre-clinical laboratory I is a specialized practice room for the subjects of clinical dentistry, especially for the technical aspects. It has individual audio & video systems for effective education of all students.
Pre-Clinical Laboratory 2
Pre-clinical laboratory II is a specialized practice room for the subjects of clinical dentistry, especially for the restorative dentistry including prosthodontics, operative dentistry, and endodontics. This laboratory room facilitates the progress from pre-clinical to clinical settings through practicing on dental mannequin.
PBL(Problem-based learning) Room 1-8
PBL control room has various facilities including AV systems, laboratory bed and a mannequin for emergency treatment practice.
