By inheriting the spirit and values of traditional Korean medicine, we will develop a future medicine for mankind.
Since the closure in 1908 of Dongje Medical School, which was sponsored by Emperor Gojong, the sages of Korean medicine have endeavored to resurrect the subject as a national science. Their efforts over the past 100 to preserve the noble values of Korean medicine have resulted in the establishment of the School of Korean Medicine at Pusan National University (PNU).
