School of Korean Medicine

We emphasize the future values of Korean medicine within a competent infrastructure.

The Yangsan campus, where the school of Korean Medicine and Its affiliated institutes are located, is the center of biomedical infrastructure at PNU and thus an ideal location for the joint research and development and industrialization of Korean medicine.

This 8-storey building 2 of which： are underground, is the home of the affiliated Korean medicine hospital, which has 200 bed5 and is equipped with high-technology facilities and the best medical teams the cooperative center and clinic departments, including internal medicine, , acupuncture, Sasang constitutions and, Gynecology and obstetrics, and rehabilitation, will make our hospital a model for the cooperative practice of Korean and western medicine.

This institute was designed to galvanize research and development into basic and clinical Korean medicine, promote cooperative Korean-Western medicine, and develop policies for Korean medicine.

this is Korea’s first and largest clinical research center designed to investigate exclusively traditional Korean herbal drugs and medical equipments. The KCRC was established to enable to contributions to the improvement of public health and the quality of life through research into the efficacy and safety of herbal drugs and Korean medical techniques, which lead to the development of new drugs and techniques.
