Graduation Information
- Program duration
The program duration is two years for a master’s program, two years for a Ph.D. program, and four years for an integrated master’s-Ph.D. program.
- Study duration
- The maximum allowed length of study is four years for a master’s program, six years for a Ph.D. program, and eight years for an integrated master’s-Ph.D. program.
- The period of leave of absence is not included in the study duration.
- Students with disabilities recognized by the president are not subject to the rule of maximum study duration despite school regulations.
- Early Graduation
- If the credits completed before the admission to the current program are recognized and added toward the graduation credits to meet the graduation requirements, the duration of the master’s and Ph.D. programs can be shortened by up to six months each.
- If the credits completed in the master’s program of PNU Graduate School before admission to the current program are recognized and added to meet the graduation requirements, the duration of the integrated master’s-Ph.D. program can be shortened by up to one year.
- If the credits completed in the current program meet the graduation requirements ahead of the regular program duration and the overall GPA of all courses is 4.0 or higher, the duration of the master’s and Ph.D. program can be shortened by up to six months each.
